0:15 | are playing from the tips at Harbortown

0:18 | which is a difficult Golf Course very

0:21 | narrow which doesn’t suit my type of

0:25 | game I like to kind of you know have fun

0:28 | I like to explore the golf course

0:30 | and so it’s going to be a true test

0:32 | today let’s see if I can break par for

0:35 | nine holes let’s

0:48 | go first tole is a par 4 playing

0:52 | 411 yards it’s really cool when you have

0:57 | seen the pros play these golf courses

1:00 | and I’m lucky enough where I get to play

1:02 | a lot of them in person but not all of

1:04 | them and so I’ve never actually played

1:06 | Harvard town in person so it is cool to

1:10 | see the golf course on a simulator and

1:13 | you can play where the pros play which

1:15 | is which is pretty cool

1:40 | you can see as we flying through there

1:41 | I’m like yeah these Fairways are very

1:43 | narrow now I have 120 yard for my next

2:12 | don’t hate this one bit I would say the

2:14 | one thing I hate about simulator golf is

2:17 | that um you got to take your glove off

2:20 | and on because you play so quickly

2:23 | yourself and you’re just constantly just

2:25 | taking your glove off and on the entire

2:28 | time makes me want to just putt with my

2:31 | glove on be like Lexi

2:48 | hole number one and we are off to a

2:50 | great start this says hole number two a

2:53 | par five playing

2:56 | 505 there’s a tree like a branch right

2:59 | where I’m supposed to supposed to hit it

3:19 | happens yeah I really don’t know what

3:20 | I’m supposed to do there there there

3:23 | were just branches I hit it through the

3:25 | branch and now there’s more trees again

3:28 | this is what makes this golf course so

3:29 | hard is that it’s not really long and

3:32 | when you’re betting on golf this is

3:34 | actually one of the easiest courses to

3:37 | pick a winner on because you have to

3:39 | find someone who is good when they hit

3:41 | Fairways now I’m thinking about it

3:43 | Jordan be one here so maybe I know

3:45 | nothing and I like what is life I’m

3:47 | questioning everything now but very

3:49 | narrow Fairways not in my favor let’s

3:53 | happens if I just go through the trees

3:57 | they say that trees are 90% air so we

4:00 | are going to put that to the test right

4:19 | out it worked out now I have um 68 yards

4:25 | into the screen so we’re making a little

4:27 | bit of a mess of it we’re seeing every

4:29 | part of the the golf course which I tend

4:31 | to always do and now I have a little wet

4:57 | two holes from the tips at Harbor town I

5:03 | hole this is hole three a par 4 playing

5:06 | at 386 yards again another tight Fairway

5:10 | so what do I do when Fairways are narrow

5:14 | I always thought that it was better to

5:16 | kind of lay off of it and swing a little

5:18 | bit easier but what I’ve realized is

5:20 | when I do that I tend to actually tense

5:22 | up and almost guide it which is one of

5:24 | the worst things you can do and so even

5:27 | though you’re trying to be controlled

5:29 | still want to make sure that you are

5:30 | swinging freely and not guiding through

5:34 | the ball because then you I tend to when

5:37 | I grip a little harder I’ll flip my

5:39 | hands over and nothing good happens from

5:42 | that so even though you’re trying to hit

5:43 | more controlled don’t put pressure on

5:45 | yourself don’t guide it and swing freely

6:08 | just like that again it was a very

6:09 | controlled swing but I was very free

6:12 | through the golf ball and you still want

6:14 | to have some power through it but you

6:16 | don’t need to swing out of your shoes

6:18 | and that’s what I mean by having some

6:19 | control you’re not swinging at 110

6:21 | you’re swinging at like 90% we have 103

6:24 | now into the screen that is a controlled

6:27 | kind of flighted pitching wedge for me

6:50 | again just taking the glove

6:53 | off play these rounds so quickly I

6:55 | shouldn’t complain but if that’s the

6:57 | worst of my worries I think we’re fine

7:15 | but another par and let’s go to the next

7:19 | hole this is the fourth hole a par three

7:23 | playing 176 yards and I am going to hit

8:01 | man a little too much power on that when

8:03 | I Crush that shot uh but looks like I

8:06 | have a little bit of a Chip Shot left

8:08 | and I’ll take it very hard part

8:31 | bad trip but also obviously not the best

8:33 | trip cuz now I’m putting for par um it’s

8:36 | breaking a little bit left to right

8:37 | again these are a little challenging for

8:39 | me on the simulator where in real life

8:42 | golf I feel lights out on my short putts

8:46 | so it’s always a little tester for me

8:48 | but I’ll see if I can make it

9:01 | yep see I just for some reason can’t

9:05 | quite get uh the read on the putts here

9:09 | again I think it’s because I’m such a

9:11 | feel Putter and if I can’t feel my feet

9:14 | and I can’t see the green that I have a

9:16 | hard time putting them cuz I don’t see

9:18 | most people see like the line of the

9:20 | Putt and I’m a little bit different I

9:22 | just don’t see the putts that way so

9:24 | this forces me to really visualize and

9:26 | to see how it’s going to go and for some

9:28 | reason like my brain just turns to

9:30 | scrambled eggs and I can’t like focus on

9:32 | it that way but it’s good to practice

9:34 | and it’s good to force me to visualize

9:36 | cuz that’s something that I never really

9:37 | did in my game that I need to do more of

9:42 | so the bad news is that we made a bogey

9:45 | and we’re back to even par the good news

9:47 | is that we are on the fifth hole a par

9:50 | five and it is only :7 so I had a good

9:53 | drive here I might be able to get this

9:55 | one and two and we need that birdie

10:23 | take that was a really good drive still

10:25 | and then we have 255 to the pen which I

11:33 | H that felt like such a missed

11:35 | opportunity to make par on this hole I

11:39 | felt like I was going to make birdie

11:40 | this was such an opportunity to get your

11:43 | birdie but uh we’re going to have to

11:46 | make it the hard way to get us under par

11:49 | for nine holes so we’re flying through

11:51 | this round we’re on the sixth hole it is

11:53 | a par 4 playing 3 92 y it is bombs away

13:44 | feel like I’m hitting it farther uh so

14:14 | yeah it’s just rolling out so much but I

14:17 | have uh 47 ft long putt we’re birdie but

14:41 | all you want to do with those long putts

14:42 | is just Nestle it up don’t stress

14:44 | yourself out walk away with a par and go

14:47 | to the next hole so this is hole a a par

14:51 | 4 playing 436 yards is a long hole for

14:54 | me so I need to make sure I hit a great

14:56 | drive and that it’s also in the Fairway

14:59 | so again I’m going to just swing freely

15:31 | driving through the Fairway which is

15:33 | frustrating and I have 180 into this 10

15:37 | we’re going to hit a six iron on this

15:59 | you know sometimes sometimes you just

16:00 | don’t hit a great shot but uh just green

16:03 | side and we can get up and down 24 Ys

16:07 | into the screen um green light all day

16:10 | long not a difficult Chip Shot and I

16:12 | feel very comfortable with these so

16:14 | hopefully we’ll get up

16:27 | down we’re good we we uh we made our par

16:31 | and got away with that one long hole a

16:34 | hard hole and I also didn’t hit a good

16:37 | iron shot and that just shows you the

16:40 | importance of short game so make sure

16:42 | you guys are working on your short game

16:43 | because you don’t hit every shot well on

16:46 | the golf course very few of them

16:48 | actually you hit exactly how you want

16:49 | but your short game will always save you

16:51 | so let’s go the ninth hole this is the

16:54 | ninth hole a par 4 playing

16:57 | 313 yards short hole a birdie hole and I

17:01 | need to make a birdie here this is very

17:03 | important to accomplish my goal so let’s

17:31 | good drive and we have only 34 yards

17:34 | left in this

17:48 | pen it just got rolling so we have a 10t

17:52 | putt to make birdie to accomplish my

17:56 | goal and um really everything is is

17:59 | riding on this everything is on the line

18:01 | and uh let’s hope that I can handle the

18:16 | pressure I did it I made my birdie putt

18:21 | I played one under par was dicey there

18:24 | for a little bit but we fought through

18:25 | it accomplished my goal

18:31 | on a golf course that doesn’t really
