These CHEAP Golf clubs from Amazon could be AMAZING! [Video]

0:36 | bold claim now there’s three wedges in

0:39 | this box and I paid

0:41 | 180 pounds for three wedges sixty pound

0:44 | of wedge that’s pretty good because

0:46 | today I went online actually looked at

0:48 | the current price of one single Titleist

0:52 | folky wedge and it’s a 160 pound just

0:54 | for one wedge so if these wedges are as

0:58 | good as the brand they’re claiming I’m

1:03 | I want to test these for looks for feel

1:09 | if they’re actually really good value or

1:12 | as I mentioned whether they’re just ones

1:16 | now I’ll be honest I’ve also had a lot

1:20 | these wedges they’re called Lazarus a

1:23 | brand I’ve never heard of they seem to

1:26 | be selling like hot cakes on Amazon at

1:28 | the moment they’ve actually got a 4.5

1:30 | star review rating currently with over 2

1:34 | 000 reviews it’s all well and good

1:36 | Amazon reviews but reviewed by me today

1:39 | let’s open these up and see what they

1:41 | look like

1:43 | there’s loads of different colors

1:45 | actually but I actually went for the

1:47 | pretty much stealth out black one so as

1:49 | you can see very well packaged

1:51 | um sold as a set do not separate so

1:57 | keeping the price value there that you

1:59 | need to buy the three and give me two

2:02 | minutes because I think I’m gonna need

2:03 | something sharp to open this one minute

2:05 | 37 seconds later okay so we’ve got a

2:08 | knife let’s open these up now typically

2:10 | with cheaper golf clubs one of the big

2:14 | telltale signs is the grip quality often

2:16 | it’s somewhere where they kind of I

2:19 | don’t know maybe keep more of a budget

2:21 | so I’m going to start with the grip of

2:24 | actually feel pretty good quite tacky

2:26 | you know they feel very very well put on

2:29 | they smell all right that’s also a real

2:32 | weird one with low quality grips it

2:35 | always absolutely stink but these

2:38 | actually look like really good quality

2:39 | grips they don’t look like they’re from

2:40 | a brand as such but yet so far so good

2:43 | on the grip quality we’ll see if they’re

2:45 | on straight in a minute

2:47 | more importantly let’s have a look what

2:51 | pretty well packaged two hours later

3:18 | well we have a direct to Consumer

3:20 | pricing model which means no middleman

3:23 | so that’s basically how they’re saying

3:25 | that they’re actually making the savings

3:27 | Lazarus golf is a small family-owned

3:29 | company trying to do big things in the

3:31 | golf space very good right it’s a bit of

3:34 | Spiel a bit of family background but

3:36 | more important let’s have a look at

3:37 | these wedges

3:38 | so I’ve got three of them 52 a 56 and a

3:41 | 60. tell you what again all looks very

3:44 | well packaged very well protected I’ve

3:45 | got no concerns it’s going to be any

3:47 | damage on these wedges wow you know what

3:53 | that’s actually a good looking wedge

3:55 | that is a good looking wedge I like that

3:57 | black finish it’s quite simple with the

4:00 | kind of sky blue lettering of Lazarus

4:02 | and this kind of L milled Forge the face

4:07 | wow that honestly genuinely that looks

4:10 | good it has got some friction to it you

4:13 | can feel it I don’t think I could have a

4:15 | shave with it but you can definitely

4:16 | feel and see the actual grooves and the

4:19 | Milling of the face there

4:22 | I like that I like the look of that a

4:24 | lot grip is on

4:28 | straight-ish not perfect but I’ll give

4:30 | them a pass with that

4:32 | a little bit of offset on the on the

4:34 | actual neck weight of the club yeah it

4:37 | feels good like it’s got a really good

4:39 | way

4:40 | so far I’m impressed with that a couple

4:43 | of call out features straight away

4:45 | there’s no on a lot of now modern wedges

4:47 | you see the Loft and the bounce and

4:49 | sometimes now the grind there’s none of

4:51 | that this is quite simplistic 56 degrees

4:54 | it’s probably got about eight to ten

4:57 | degrees of bounce on the bottom yeah

5:00 | very good so far these clubs for me pass

5:04 | the Lux test and they have come in

5:07 | absolutely pristine condition right

5:31 | the face I just hit it way too hard

5:40 | initial feels just off the very very

5:44 | it’s quite easy for a lot of Brands to

5:46 | kind of stamp on this word forged

5:49 | certainly if it’s kind of a little bit

5:50 | of a lesser-known brand but actually

5:52 | feels really soft like off the face

5:56 | that feels as soft as any premium wedge

6:54 | making them a little bit too strong I’m

7:08 | honestly cannot complain with that at

7:14 | just behind the balls got quite a

7:16 | different shaping

7:18 | it’s like it’s a lot more kind of round

7:20 | and almost more like a spoon

7:22 | both the 52 and the 56 do have that kind

7:25 | of curved bottom but this looks like

7:26 | it’s been exaggerated a touch more

7:32 | oh that felt really good

7:35 | just sitting these a little bit hard but

7:36 | they feel really good

7:40 | I’ll thin that one

7:41 | not a bad result considering I hit it so

7:44 | yeah you know what genuinely I don’t

7:46 | have to hit a lot of shots there to tell

7:48 | you the feel of these wedges so on these

7:50 | little short shots is exceptional very

7:52 | impressed

7:54 | these are some of the softest wedges

7:55 | I’ve ever ever tested even just doing

7:58 | this like it just feels good off the

8:00 | face now there’s a little bit in the

8:01 | fact that the the shaft is a little bit

8:03 | soft it almost dampens that kind of

8:05 | vibration but they do feel great off the

8:08 | face

8:09 | these are the best wedges that have been

8:11 | released this year I mean that’s a bit

8:13 | weird bold shout right let’s see if this

8:19 | got my 56 degrees I’m gonna see if it

8:24 | close to 10 000 RPM is pretty good we

8:51 | only spun just under 6 000 RPMs not

8:53 | stupid amount to spin it stops straight

8:56 | around the green I reckon I can actually

8:58 | strike one better than that though

9:14 | does feel good the only thing I’m

9:18 | alluded to it a minute ago I feel like

9:20 | the shaft is probably the cheapest

9:24 | like there’s a bit of a I don’t know a

9:26 | kick on the way down which is definitely

9:29 | helping with that softness but making it

9:32 | don’t know less stable coming down I’d

9:42 | this could be nice sit down a bit

9:46 | oh it’s gone big that was a weird one

9:49 | that that carried 111 yards well I can’t

9:53 | really hit a 56 degree 111 yards now I’m

9:56 | not picking up on that as being a

9:58 | positive either like I don’t want to hit

10:02 | target it spun a little bit more over 8

10:09 | I feel like this bit of the club is

10:15 | looks I’m feeling the shaft I mean it’s

10:21 | they’re kind of cheapened the products

10:22 | where they get that saving from I guess

10:25 | um let’s hit one more into this full

10:27 | green it shouldn’t that shouldn’t have

10:29 | gone as far as it did

10:38 | but even that’s gone miles I’m just

10:42 | gonna hit one more because it’s

10:44 | confusing me this it feels like I’m

10:46 | struggling to know how the ball is going

10:49 | to come off the face depending on where

10:50 | this kind of shaft kicks God it was

10:53 | seeming very positive but I think I

10:56 | think I found my biggest negative of

10:57 | this set of clubs of these wedges

11:06 | now granted I hit a couple of bad shots

11:08 | then I fatted one and thinned one but

11:11 | overall I felt like I lost trust in what

11:16 | the outcome was going to be like was it

11:17 | gonna go 10 yards longer was it going to

11:19 | go up much higher or I just felt like

11:21 | the shaft was having far too much

11:23 | influence on the result now it’s a shame

11:25 | because everything around the greens was

11:28 | so positive to kick things off I’m also

11:31 | intrigued to test these out the bunkers

11:33 | they’re going to redeem themselves and

11:35 | what’s this wear gonna be like on this

11:37 | black finish especially because it comes

11:39 | in all these different color options

11:40 | those rainbow ones look a bit mad

11:43 | um is this finish actually going to last

11:46 | so already I’m seeing a tiny bit of

11:48 | scratching so positives a feel

11:50 | definitely some of the best wedges I’ve

11:51 | tested this year negatives on the full

11:53 | shots I didn’t know how far the wedges

11:55 | were going to go it just felt very

11:56 | unpredictable and I honestly would put

11:58 | that down to the shaft wholeheartedly

12:01 | last test bunk shots I’m going to double

12:04 | test this because these are in Black

12:06 | finishes black finish golf clubs do have

12:09 | a tendency of kind of wearing and

12:11 | starting to look quite dated very

12:12 | quickly so out sand the rough surface

12:15 | how these Lazarus reg is going to

12:17 | perform and also how they’re actually

12:19 | going to perform out the bunker anyway

12:20 | so that’s it these shots

12:23 | they do look very inviting as like I

12:25 | said it’s quite a bit of offset on the

12:26 | neck

12:27 | but that doesn’t massively offend me out

12:29 | of a bunker

12:33 | oh that came out nice

12:36 | came out really nice

12:38 | that’s it these ones

12:58 | wedges make this particular shot feel

13:14 | they’re all past the flag they’ll give

13:24 | look at this things were going really

13:25 | well there were lots of Promise these

13:29 | wedges

13:30 | but with the lower price point you’ve

13:32 | got to expect some negativity I found in

13:36 | this test negativity on the full shots

13:38 | and

13:39 | negativity there

13:42 | on the face out of those shots out the

13:44 | bunker there is lots of wear and tear

13:47 | that black finish just has not lasted

13:51 | that’s a real shame that really is

13:54 | there’s promise there is are they the

13:56 | best wedges for this price point

13:58 | the one of the better ones all the ones

14:01 | I’ve tested in the past as well with the

14:02 | Kirkland Signature wedges they were

14:04 | really good and they’re about the same

14:05 | price for three they’re not bad but

14:08 | they’re not perfect but as I mentioned

14:10 | they’re a fraction of the price compared
